Self-Serve Permit Portal Now Available
HPWD has a new self-serve portal for requesting permit applications. If you are requesting a permit application, please try this new feature. If you have any questions, please contact our office.
HPWD Launches New Website
HPWD has recently launched a new district website with improved customer service features and added more transparency. The new platform we are using has improved accessibility and a search function that helps customers quickly find items of interest. There are several forms on the site where customers may request an educational presentation, register a water well exempt from permitting, and subscribe to our news. We hope this engages groundwater users with our staff and helps us serve the district more effectively.
Upcoming Events
The new website has a calendar of events where you may stay informed:

Particular emphasis in these changes concerns the waste management rule, which has been the same since 1984. You may read more about the draft amendments here.
- The drought conditions map and the monthly outlook are updated.
